[accordion-item title=”• Will I be charged per order?”]No, we don’t take any commission charges on your orders. You will only have to pay a flat monthly fee.

If you accept card payments your merchant account provider (Stripe) will claim their usual fees.[/accordion-item]

[accordion-item title=”• How long until my website goes online?”]On average we can get your website live and running in 1 – 2 weeks.
This will depend on how soon we receive all your information; that includes your Menu and any applicable images or photos, and your write up content (who you are, what you do etc…) If you already have a domain name, how soon you can change the DNS settings.[/accordion-item]

[accordion-item title=”• How soon will I see my card payments?”]The online ordering system holds the funds for 20 hours from the time of ordering then will deposit them directly into your merchant account (Stripe).

This delay will actually serve to help you from incurring any unwanted extra costs, for example if you had a dispute with a customer, the system calculates that these statistically should rarely occur after 20 hours.

We will never have access to your money; the funds transfer from the customer to the ordering system (20 hours) and directly into your Stripe account.[/accordion-item]

[accordion-item title=”• Will I need any special equipment to take orders?”]For instant ordering notifications you require a smart phone or tablet (Android or iPhone) with internet (WiFi) access.
Essential Items:

  • Internet connection with WiFi.
  • Android or iOS phone or tablet.

Recommended Optional Items:

  • Laptop/Computer, for viewing the control panel on a larger screen.
  • Access to your email account, either through your phone, laptop or tablet for printing orders.
  • WiFi Printer.

Having a computer & printer on your premises will make viewing the system dashboard and making print outs easier.[/accordion-item]

[accordion-item title=”• What Payment Gateway do you use?”]Our ordering system uses the ‘Stripe’ payment gateway. Which allows for the best user experience for your customers, as they will not have to leave the Ordering System App.

Stripe only takes 1.4% +20p per transaction, compared to PayPal’s 3.4% +20p. So you’ll see savings too!

[accordion-item title=”• Will I need internet access?”]Yes, you will need to have a stable internet connection with WiFi enabled in order to receive orders to your specific device.[/accordion-item]

[accordion-item title=”• Do I need a touchscreen mobile device to receive orders?”]Yes, you need a smart phone or tablet to accept orders. The system will be operating in real time so you’ll need to respond to customers in a timely manner and let them know that their order has been accepted.

We can setup your personal devices to accept orders, but we highly recommend setting up a tablet or two for the premises. [/accordion-item]

[accordion-item title=”• What happens if my Tablet/Phone is not working?”]If your phone/tablet isn’t working or connecting to the internet no orders can be placed. When your customers visit your website and view your menu, they will get a warning message saying you cannot receive online orders at this time, prompting them to phone you instead.

The system will not allow online orders to be placed until a connection to one of your devices is resolved. Protecting you and your customers. We HIGHLY recommend a primary tablet on wifi, and a backup with a data connection. [/accordion-item]

[accordion-item title=”• Can I use my existing website or domain?”]If you already own a domain name you can use that, you’ll just have to point the ‘NameServers’ to talk to our server (we can help you with this), or if you want to place the menu ordering system on your existing website we can do it for you or provide code and instructions to your preferred developer.[/accordion-item]

[accordion-item title=”• Can I print my online orders?”]Yes, but you will need a WiFi Printer that is Android or iPhone compatible. We offer devices and printers for lease. All of your orders will also be sent to your email account, so you can always print them from there.[/accordion-item]
